Safety Features

The new Mazda3 Sport brings the new i-Activsense, which carries a set of proactive features designed to predict hazards even before they occur. It is equipped with Lane-keep Assist, Pedestrian Detection, and Smart Brake Support, which are, incidentally, standard in the vehicle. Additionally, the brand has added fresh features such as the Private eCall, which instantly places a call to the emergency centre if your vehicle encounters an accident. For such disasters, a specially trained agent will coordinate the emergency response while detecting the location of your vehicle and informing the ambulance, fire, and police departments. Alternatively, the occupants can press the in-vehicle SOS button and place a Private eCall to initiate an emergency response.

Another interesting and handy feature is that Stolen Vehicle Assistance (SVA) assists law enforcement in case of car theft. File a report first and then use the MyMazda app to reach out to the Stolen Vehicle Assistance Centre, where the feature is initiated. Your vehicle’s VIN, the name of the police department and the police report number must be provided. Mazda will work with law enforcement directly to provide vehicle location information and assist law enforcement in the recovery of the vehicle.

Seamless Connectivity is enabled with the Mazda Connected Services, which comes with a 2-year trial. Additionally, you get your vehicle’s health report, doors lock and unlock, and more. Use the Mazda Connect next-gen infotainment to connect seamlessly to the satellite radio, navigation and other hands-free techs. An 10.25-inch wide display in colour is fitted for the infotainment system. You can connect to the Android Auto™ or use the Apple CarPlay™ to access your phone, music, messages, and Siri.
